Window Filming
AES supply and fit a wide variety of window films and vinyls. These aid in solar heat reduction, UV protection, privacy, safety, security and window display applications. Using window films and vinyls offers a wide range of ways to enhance the performance of your glass, from subtle tints to bold colours.

Both of these problems can be solved by fitting one of our solar control films to your existing glazing. This can cut the suns energy by up to 79% and reduce glare by up to 86%.
Our professionally installed, clear safety and security film, will provide an invisible, yet highly effective protection. This safety and security film will hold glass fragments together in the event of breakage to resist 'smash and grab', and forced entry. It can also be applied to existing windows that don't meet regulation 14 (workplace health and safety) or to provide a higher level of safety and security to windows in schools, hospitals or secure environments. Available from 50 to 350 microns, all tested to relevant British (BS 6206) and European (EN 12600) impact tests.
For offices, meeting rooms or receptions fitting a privacy film is a highly effective way to create private areas whilst still maintaining a natural light. Etched 'opaque' privacy films have a translucent, modern look when compared to traditional glass patterns. Heavily tinted, blackout or coloured vinyls can also be easily fitted in shops or businesses where there is a need to totally obscure unsightly areas or hide secure environments.
Combined solar-safety or privacy-safety films are available offering the benefits of both types in one film and are available from 100 to over 250 microns.
